Installation

Switch off the smartphone and remove the SIM card tray before beginning the repair. Carefully heat and open the back cover using suitable plastic opening tools.

Disconnect the battery and remove the internal covers and lower loudspeaker assembly. Release the connected flex cables and carefully remove the installed charging port board.

Position the replacement board correctly inside the housing and reconnect all connectors. Make sure that the USB-C port is correctly aligned with the housing opening. Soldering is normally not required.

Testing

Before closing the smartphone, test the charging function, USB connection, data transfer and lower microphone. After successful testing, complete the reassembly using suitable replacement adhesive.
